Crisis Management

In a youth or family mental health crisis text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 741741 (Crisis Text Line) for free, 24/7 support; you also call 911 or go to an ER for immediate danger. Getting help prevents escalation, offers hope, provides coping strategies, connects you to professional care, validates experiences, and teaches resilience, crucial for youth and families facing immediate danger, overwhelming feelings, self-harm, or substance use issues.

Safety First: Prevents worsening crises, self-harm, or suicide.
Validation & Relief: Sharing with a trained listener reduces isolation and offers immediate calm.
Coping Skills: Learn ways to manage intense emotions and situations.
Connect to Resources: Get connected to therapists, support groups, and long-term treatment.
Hope & Future: Shows that things can get better with support, especially important for young people.
Family Support: Helps families learn to support each other and find professional help.

Please call 911 or visit the emergency room immediately if you are at all concerned about safety
